What's wrong with this picture?

As most of you know Steve is a Husky fan and Jessica is a Couger fan. We bought this rug recently and when we put it down our cat Cuddles Qbert decided to pick sides. Can you tell that she is a daddy's girl?? So you know the bottom of the rug says "A House Divided!". She is covering up part of the word. Have a good laugh.

January

January came and went and when I look back on the month I remember a couple special events.

First is the celebration of our friends daughter Robin making the decision to be baptised. It was wonderful to see this very speical young lady make such a public statement of faith.

Second is celebrating a good friends birthday. Mike and Steve have been friends for such a long time and it's always good to spend time together as friends. Mike says he is such a nerd but we know that's not true because he has been such a great friend to us.

The last event I think of is bath day for our four legged daughter, Cuddles Qbert. She is such a big cat and when it's time to give her a bath she makes sure you know just how heavy she is. She weighs 16 pounds but put her in water and feels more like 30 pounds. Doesn't she just look pathetic??

Hola from Cabo

Hola from Cabo San Luca Mexico. We arrived on Saturday late afternoon. The airport is so crazy to get out of. As soon as you leave customes you get swarmed by time share sales people that want to help but really they don't. Once we got through the poor part of town to the resort we were amazed at how beautiful it is here. Our condo looks out at the swimming pool and the ocean. There is so much to do here and we can't wait to go. We plan on going on a glass bottom boat to tour the rock archs, go jet skiing, and swimming with the dolphins. Steve is excited to go on a zip line here called a canopy. We will let you all know how things go as the week goes on.

A day at the zoo

July 15th was such a fun day. We were able to take our niece Jazmyn and our nephew Cameron to Point Defiance Zoo for a few hours by ourselves. This was the first time we ever had the kids just to ourselves. We gave Paul and Jennifer a chance to do something by themselves for a few hours. We will cherish this day for a long time since they will be moving soon.

Cabo or Bust

10 days til we leave for Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for our 5 year anniversary. Can't wait for fun in the sun and on the beach.

So long dear friend

On December 22, 2006, we recieved a call from Pastor Ralph saying that our dear dear friend Marie Johnston passed away in a car accident. We are still in shock over losing her. Her smile was always so warm and inviting to everyone she met. Also her love for God was evident in everything she did and said. She will be missed.
